DAAD HELMUT SCHMIDT PROGRAMME 2024 IN GERMANY
The scholarship holders will receive
• Scholarships for master’s programs at German higher education institutes, presently worth €934 per month
• Germany’s system of health insurance
A study and research grant, appropriate travel reimbursements for trips between Germany and the relevant developing and emerging nations, rent subsidies, and, as necessary, family supplements.
• Prerequisite 6-month-long German language course in Germany; attendance is required
The following variation in benefit payments is applicable to the “Social
Protection” master’s course, due to its blended learning concept:
€ 500 per month is paid in the 4th semester
